Rick grew up in Winter Haven and has called it home for 50 years. He is a graduate of Florida State University, where he studied Economics and Business, building on his interest in numbers inspired by his dad. After returning to Central Florida, he started planting his roots in his hometown—marrying his wife, diving into the insurance industry, and growing his family.

With more than 30 years of insurance experience, Rick spent time learning about the industry and working in claims before joining Mulling Insurance in 2008. At Mulling, Rick has specialized in commercial insurance, helping clients in a variety of industries like restaurants, garages, contractors, and even hog trapping! With a heart for customer service, Rick’s favorite part of working at Mulling is the people—both his team and the clients he’s privileged to serve. The family-oriented atmosphere and meaningful connections have made it a place where he’s enjoyed building his career.

When he’s not writing policies, Rick is most likely either golfing with the MWB group, a local group of guys he helped bring together 25 years ago, or spending time with his family. He and Wanda, a retired kindergarten teacher, have two grown children, Emily and Nicklaus, and are delighted at the growing number of grandbabies who are joining their family. Whether at home or visiting Tallahassee, Rick values family time above all.
